Curb Appeal Begin with the exterior of your home, or your curb appeal. Take a fresh look at the outside of your home from a quick glance from the street. What jumps out at you? What awesome characteristics seem waiting to be noticed?
Acknowledging this assists us in determining what we can do to attract buyers from the street and into your home. If your home isn't attractive on the outside with retouched paint and bright greenery it's time to get those things done. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and raise your house's final selling price.

Make yourself at home...
Could a buyer picture themselves watching a movie in your living room, relaxing in your spa tub or studying in your home office? I want your house to pleasantly accept buyers and offer them a sense of easy living. I'll help you do this by suggesting small improvements that highlight your home's features.
I'll suggest that you eliminate anything that gives the impression of clutter. Tabletops should be cleared off. Kitschy sculptures, sentimental items, family photos, and kids' drawings should get stored away too. You need to "de-personalize" the house so buyers can perceive it as their new home.
I know instantly what a room's best features are and how to highlight them. Improvements that directly affect your bottom line include easy-to-fix items like pieces of furniture that should get removed, rooms that need fresh paint, carpet that needs steaming, fixtures that need shining, and windows that need cleaning.
Buyers like to see a residence that seems comfortable. Anything that could be too personal should go into storage in order for your home to have likability at the open house.

Setting the Stage
At every showing, we're doing well if we're engaging the buyer's senses.
Dark rooms can really dampen a buyer's spirits, so we'll do things like draw back curtains and create light where needed to welcome the buyer. Together we'll enhance the ambiance with enjoyable music playing lightly and ensure a delightful aroma circulates room-to-room. We'll include cozy-looking throws, and pillows on your love seat and bed. We want buyers to feel like your current house has the potential to be. |
